The public meeting last thursday night saw the start of our mobilisation for the No Border Camp in Calais. As part of the presentation on the situation in Calais we screened the documentary film “No Comment” which shows the reality of life for undocumented migrants in north east France. Following the film a we had a wide ranging and productive group discussion, we feel the event was very positive and would encourage everyone to attend our next event upstairs at O’Neill’s on Trinity street on Thursday 4th June when there will also be entertainment.
As part of the desire to increase the knowledge and understanding of the border regime and resistance against it, the No Borders Network has produced a No Borders A-Z glossary which is also available as a booklet. We’ll have come copies on our stall at all of our upcoming events, along with a selection of stickers that have recently been produced:
There are still a limited number of seats available on board the transport to the Camp from South Wales, please get in contact if you’d like to come.
