The photo exhibition “No Land’s Men: The Struggle for Calais” comes to Cardiff on Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th June.

This exhibition by Julie Rebouillat has been travelling around the UK over the last few months and will conclude in Calais for the No Border Camp on Tuesday 23rd June. It features 20 documentary photographs that describe the life of undocumented migrants living in Calais and their attempts to cross the Channel to England. Rebouillat explores their precarious homes and lifestyles and how they attempt to reclaim their lives.

The exhibition will be on display at Oriel Canfas gallery and will be open to the public at the following times: Thursday 11th June, 5-7pm • Friday 12th June, 4-8pm • Saturday 13th June, 12-5pm

As part of the mobilisation for the camp, on the opening night of the exhibition, in Le Salon at 7.30pm, we will be hosting a talk and film screening exploring issues of migration and the impact of border controls on migrants. We encourage anyone with an interest in this subject to view the exhibition and come along to the talk.
